1. The Beauty of the Patina

• Natural Evolution: Because we use traditional vegetable-tanning, your leather will absorb the natural oils from your skin.

• Maturing with Time: Over months of wear, the leather will transition from its initial matte finish to a rich, lustrous sheen known as a "patina."

• A Living Record: Scuffs and darkening are not defects; they are the marks of high-quality leather "growing" alongside its wearer.

2. Specialized Care for Exotic Textures

Exotic skins require a nuanced touch to preserve their unique structural integrity:

• Snakeskin (Python/Cobra): Known for its "lifting" scales. Always wipe or condition strictly in the direction of the scales. Never rub against the grain, as this can cause permanent fraying.

• Salmon Leather: Remarkably strong with a cross-fibered texture. It thrives on hydration; if it appears dull, a light conditioning will instantly revive its signature metallic luster.

• Crocodile & Alligator: These skins feature dense protein shields. While durable, they are prone to "calcium spots" if they get wet. Always buff with a dry microfiber cloth immediately after any moisture exposure to prevent dulling.
